On the second Friday of every December, the Old Newsboys of Flint hit the streets for the Annual Newspaper Sale. Friday, December 11, 2009 marked the 85th Annual Old Newsboys Paper Sale. Historically, our "Old Newsboys" will tell you, the Annual Newspaper Sale day is the coldest of the year. This year was no exception

Members of the Old Newsboys and a dedicated group of volunteers joined together to sell special editions of The Flint Journal to raise funds for the Holiday Box and other programs. Thanks to the Flint Journal, our members and volunteers, and you—this year’s Paper Sale was a huge success.
